Multiplication Scoot

Multiplication Scoot

Get your boot-scootin-boogie on!!! It's time to play SCOOT!!! Every grade that I have been in LOVES scoot games.  It's gets the students up and moving around the room which is exactly what they need!

If you don't know what "scoot" is, it is very simple to put together!  First, you take all the separate cards that have problems on them, and place/tape them around the room.  The students are given an answer recording sheet.  They go around the room and find each card.  Each card is numbered 1-how ever many you have.  They are to find each card, solve the problem, and then write their response in the corresponding box on their recording sheet.  once they finish they turn it in!

It is a great/quick center to check their understanding of a topic!  Here are some examples of what the scoot task cards may look like.  These are what you cut out, laminate, and place around your room.

You can create a scoot game for almost any topic!  I made the ones you see above for our multiplication with double digit unit.  They are in my tpt store "The Magic of Teaching."  If you like them go grab a set and leave me some feedback please!  It's always appreciated!
